Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down
This video is quite alternative as Johnny himself doesn't actually appear in the video himself at all, most videos have the main singer as the person at the centre of the video. The video also has no narrative structure, the video just consists of various shots of celebrities which has no meaning to the song or lyrics. You do see quite a lot of videos that have a narrative structure, but then you do see a lot that have a weak narrative that is hard to follow. You don't see many with no narrative at all and this and the fact Johnny doesn't appear in the video himself shows that the video is alternative and breaking the norm.
